Dear Colleagues,

The Philippine Urological Association will be holding its 35th Mid-Year Convention 2019 meeting in Palawan with the theme “#TRENDING: Male Infertility and Sexual Medicine”

This year’s meeting promises to be exciting as it differs from what we used to hold during our midyear meetings. The Committee opted to prepare a full day program that is truly scientific and educational with the caliber of an international meeting. The PUA collaborated with EAU and its section of Andrological Urology (ESAU) to bring in renowned European urologists who are experts in their field namely Prof. Nikolaos Sofikitis and Prof. Andrea Salonia. Local lecturer, who is an equally respected expert in his field in the person of Dr. Juliano ZK Panganiban completes the roster of expert lecturers. The meeting would tackle on novel developments in the field of Andrology including infertility and erectile dysfunction and how we can apply it into our clinical practice.

On the side lines, Palawan promises to be an exciting place for us Urologists together with our families to have a break and enjoy the wonders of the “city in a forest” has to offer. Our local colleagues have made all efforts to prepare a nice venue for both learning and recreation. We hope to see everyone during this midyear convention so all together we learn and all together we enjoy.
