The Philippine Urological Association, Inc. once again paves way to this year’s annual Men’s Health Awareness Month entitled “Tayo Naman Lahat”. The event will focus on imparting knowledge towards the general population about several urological illnesses, affecting not just the male patient, but all sexes and age groups. This will include media campaigns through radio, television, online and print media. The activity will be a two-part event and will kick off during the first week with online didactics on benign prostatic enlargement and erectile dysfunction, which will be provided for free followed by an online forum for questions. Topics for the second week will be for the general population, including urinary stone disease for adults and common urologic diseases in children like hypospadias, phimosis/paraphimosis, and undescended testis. Central to these activities are actual online consultation sessions with urologist.
All these efforts, aim to promote awareness about urologic health, consistent with PUA’s goals since its foundation. The schedule of this year’s Tayo Naman Lahat activities are presented:
