Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center Urology Department is the center with the most number of participants screened in all urology treatment centers nationwide since 1996. This year, the event started from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm held last June 18, 2016 at the outpatient department clinics. The said event started with registration of 408 participants followed by a lecture regarding prostate health rendered by Dr. Michael Dave Mesias. An open forum was held afterwards followed by free consultations with the consultant and resident staff.

         The event was a success because the department still had the most number of patients seen among all the urology treatment centers that held the DRE activity on the same day. Campaign for screening was done by appearances at DWIZ, Radyo Veritas, and DWRH. A motorcade along Quaipo, Central Market, Bambang Market, and Blumetritt market was done for distribution of flyers. All the participants learned from the lectures and pamphlets given and they were encouraged to invite more participants for the next national DRE campaign.
